Bathroom remodeling, tips and considerations

Experience in bathroom modifications is important in order to avoid leaks and humidity problems.

For example, replacing a bath tub for a walk in shower. Once the shower area has been prepared, a concrete must be set with a slope enough in order that water can go through the drain. A plastic liner should be set upon and then water. Leave it for 24 hours with the drain temporally sealed so you can check for leaks or other problems related. Next step would be adding mixed concrete and after the concrete's curation time the ceramic tiles should be installed.

Before hiring a Handyman or contractor, make sure it complies with all the construction qualifications and licenses. This will save you money most of the times.

Changing light bulbs

Before touching anything make sure to power off the switch that power the bulb you are trying to replace. IF possible, try to switch off the whole electric section of the house. An electric shock is a common consequence of inadequate care about this.

Second but not less important, make sure you get a stable and reliable ladder.  Two minutes to get a ladder could turn into two months with a dislocated shoulder.
